Cybersecurity Middle School Curriculum

Partnering with local educators is important to us at ASU.  We have created a curriculum for several cybersecurity topics that meet the Arizona State cybersecurity standards, and we would like to share them with you for use in your classroom.

Agreement to Download Curriculum

    Arizona State University (ASU) through its Cybersecurity Education Consortium has developed this cybersecurity curriculum and is the owner and copyright holder of all ASU-developed materials that are a part of this curriculum. This curriculum also contains materials from third parties, such as videos from YouTube and educational articles used with permission. Some of these are from Creative Commons and available for reuse, subject to the requirements of the applicable license. The curriculum is freely available for your download and use subject to the following terms and conditions: Use of all or part of the curriculum is allowed for classroom instruction and teaching or educational purposes, subject to the following restrictions: a. Logos may not be removed from any of the materials. b. Attributions may not be changed or removed on the materials. c. The materials within and the curriculum as a whole cannot be licensed, sold, or otherwise transferred to a third party. d. The curriculum or materials cannot be claimed as your own. e. If you modify the materials, you must indicate what changes were made and that those were your own and not ASU’s.

    This unit on cybersecurity was developed to accompany JFF’s Possible Futures career exploration curriculum for middle school students. The Possible Futures curriculum and additional information is available at JFF’s website.
